Angela Akins Gracia became interested in sports as an teen and started to play golf. After a few lessons, the Angela Akins Gracia mastered the art of a calm and strong swing. As the years passed by, she became experienced and completed more than eight tournaments as high school students. During her days as the captain of the Mable Falls high school's golf team Garcia led her team to third place in the 2003 regional event, which they then finished as sixth place in 2006. It is clear Garcia is a skilled golfer. She has over 17 medals to her name on a national scale. Furthermore she's a proud participant in the Texas Women's Golf Association. Following her high school graduation, Garcia attended Texas Christain University for a number of years. She then transferred to the University of Texas.
